Defence Alliance 2 Keeps Freezing in Game (Solved)

Following on from my post regarding Killing Floor freezing, I just received the free mod , Defence Alliance 2, which I wasn’t overly impressed with. I know it’s free and I can’t complain, but it just felt like a real step back in all areas of gameplay. Maybe it’s being overshadowed by Modern Warfare 2. It’s going to be hard for developers bringing out games in the same area for the forseable future

Anyway, for those of you who are playing it I thought I would help out again with the same issue. When joining online games the whole things freezes although you are still able to move around. I still have no idea for the reason behind this and I’m happy to settle for a temporary fix rather than spend too much time on it.

The same solution applies, when the game freezes, open up the console (the ‘ button) and type reconnect. I find you only need to do this once and it sorts the problem out. Only do this when the game has entered the frozen state – you can only solve the problem, not avoid it
